Free. No sign-up. Takes about 20 seconds. We only read public pages, the same way a search crawler does.
Six things Ai engines need from your site
Each check is something we see block real businesses from being cited or recommended.
Ai crawler access
Whether robots.txt lets OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot, Googlebot and Bingbot read your pages, and which training crawlers you block.
Firewall and CDN blocking
We request your homepage as each Ai search crawler. If your security setup turns them away, engines can’t see you even when robots.txt allows them.
Indexability
noindex, nosnippet and canonical tags that keep your homepage out of Google, Bing and the Ai features built on them.
Readable content
A title, description, clear H1 and enough text in the HTML, not hidden behind JavaScript or images.
Business identity
Organization or LocalBusiness structured data, linked profiles (sameAs), and a visible phone or email.
Sitemap and llms.txt
An XML sitemap that helps engines find every page, plus whether you publish the optional llms.txt file.
Technical readiness is step one
A clean result means engines can read you. It doesn’t mean they recommend you. That depends on what the rest of the web says about your business. Compare your site with a competitor, or see what we found across 1,208 business websites.
- Mentions and recommendationsWhether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and the others actually name you for buyer questions needs real engine tests, repeated over time.
- Competitors and sourcesWho gets named instead, and which review sites, directories and articles the engines trust in your market.
- Reputation signalsReviews, brand mentions and backlinks are the levers that move recommendations. The full audit maps where you stand.

What does the Ai visibility checker test?
It checks whether the search crawlers behind ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google and Bing are allowed in your robots.txt and not blocked by a firewall, whether your homepage can be indexed and quoted, whether it has readable text, business structured data and key facts, and whether you have an XML sitemap and llms.txt.
Does a high score mean ChatGPT will recommend me?
No. The checker measures technical readiness: whether engines can reach and understand your site. Whether they actually mention or recommend you depends on your reputation across the web, such as reviews, brand mentions and backlinks. The free audit tests that engine by engine.
Is the checker really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no email required. You can run a few checks an hour. Results for each site are kept for a few hours so repeat checks are fast.
What do you do with the sites I check?
We read only public pages, the way a search crawler does, and keep a short log of the domain and score so we can monitor the tool. We don’t store your IP address or any personal details from the checker.
Why does it say my firewall may be blocking Ai crawlers?
When we request your homepage while identifying as an Ai search crawler, your server or CDN returned an error or a challenge page. Many security tools block unfamiliar bots by default. Check your CDN or security plugin settings and allow verified Ai search crawlers.
Your next customer is asking Ai right now. Make sure it says your name.
